Foraged and harvested from the meadows in a surprisingly hilly part of Mid-Suffolk.
Honey from the buckwheat flower is highly nutritious, rich in smell and taste and popular for its many health benefits. It is higher in antioxidants than
any other type of traditional honey and is very rich in vitamins and minerals.
It is believed that buckwheat honey promotes healing in the body, supports immune functions and boosts antioxidants.
Flavour:
Rich, aromatic and earthy. Notes of bitter caramel , toffee, dates with a malty undertone.
A natural characteristic of raw honey is to set (crystallise). This doesn't affect the taste.
Should crystallisation occur, either enjoy as it is or gently warm the jar in hot water until runny again.
Unsuitable for children under 12 months.
